Cherish your customer (always and forever)
You will never win from your customer! Realize that the customer is constantly asking for more. Who would have dared to think a year ago about the impact of quick commerce? But, they are here and will continue to be here. And they are setting the new standard for 2022. Faster delivery is the new normal in B2C and in B2B. In B2B, the digitization of ordering and payment processes are now standard.
Sales channels are merging further, blurring and omnichannel. As a result, there are more and more customer segments with their own logistical wishes and requirements and their own logistical approach to be a profitable supplier.
The servicification of products and paying for use are continuing; the subscription industry. This requires a reversal of processes. They must be designed from the customer’s perspective and based on the performance they expect. Making a profit in the subscription economy is a challenge.
